I saw a Bengali friend of mine in late June.
He commented that he doesn't often see a friend of European descent who is darker than he is. He was referring to my arms and face.
I will be seeing him again in a few days. Don't know what his comment will be now that I am even darker.
I didn't tell him that I a equally dark from my face to my waist, and while there is a visible difference at my waistline, the part below is darker than one would expect.
