Enjoying the little things
Return to DiscussionsIt's still very, very cold outside. Today I was cleaning the patio door tracks in the den; the doors face south and the sun was bright. There I was, naked in a floor-to-ceiling window, bare skin absorbing all that warmth, only two panes of glass away from weather that isn't compatible with a naked body. A moment to remind what a lucky guy I am. It's a little thing, but so very, very welcome as we wait for summer.
I know exactly what you mean,my patio door faces due South. Today the temperature outside was about 3 deg. C whilst inside behind my double glazed doors the thermometer at my chair showed 28 deg. C. Such a beautiful way to watch a soccer game from a very cold England in the nude.
Roll on summer.
Being from SW Minnesota, I fully understand how the winters are. Mother Nature needs to back off on winter and deliver spring to us! On Thursday, we had weather in the 50s with a blizzard warning for Friday night! Yesterday, Saturday, the blizzard kicked in full force and dumped about 10-12 inches of snow...with possibly another 3 on the way for today.
I have southward facing windows but cant use them to enjoy the midday sun like you can. My southward windows open to the main street through town. A slight problem since Im a nudist and not an exhibitionist.
Still just a little too cool to stay outside nude for any length of time. But I have had two wonderful occasions just recently when the warm sun was not obscured by clouds and the wind subsided that I was able to go down to our beach and sit naked in the sun. The first time I just enjoying the first outdoor nude experience of the year. The second time I knocked off two pen sketches. Grey and cool again today, still waiting for those lovely warm early mornings. Unless the sun comes out it will be another indoor nude day.
