We are just counting down the days, till we are flying into Palm Springs for some well deserved R+R.
After our WET and Damp Winter that we just went through, we can hardly wait to see a Palm Tree. lol
Not to sure, if the Palm Springs March weather and the lower Spring temps is for us, but.....just hoping that the Sun is out, and it is warm enough to be Naked by the pool, for our entire stay?
We came down last March, at about the same time, and we just missed their Rain Storms that they experienced prior to our arrival.
Great Timing on our part, that time around.
Have our fingers crossed, that March will be good to us....and we won't have to bundle up, this time around.
What do you Folks think?......Should we pack MORE clothes ( Warmer Clothes / Warmer Jackets / Umbrella's ? etc ) than we normally do, while expecting the worse......or......should we just come on down.....with our normal amount of clothing?
Our Airline, only allows us 40 pounds per person for stowed luggage, and believe it or not......40 pounds adds up very very quickly......even for couples that never wear clothes.
Seriously......we can't believe how 40 pounds of "NOTHING"....accumulates as quickly as it does.
Yes.....we even have our Carry On Bags with us, but the Over Heads can only hold so much.
Bringing "Warmer" clothing will only add to our already fully packed luggage.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
That is why.....we LOVE the HOTTER Months in Palm Springs.....it allows us, to bring so much less, in the way of clothing and products.
What do you guys think?.....What is the Norm for the weather and for the temps in Palm Springs for the month of March?...... Middle of the Month? (March 16th and on,we will be there for Two solid weeks )..."Spring Break" time of year?
We will be checking out the "New" Terra Cotta ( again) while we are in Palm Springs, and are looking forward to seeing all the Hard work that they have done on and too the place.
We popped by the "New" Terra Cotta for a quick look see last August, just a few short weeks after they had bought the place......and since then.....they have done Tons of work to her.
So much work, that they have just WON an Award.... for being the "Best" Boutique Hotel in Palm Springs!
Congratulations to John and Tom and to Mary Claire for the Award.......from the pictures on their Web Site..... the "New" Terra Cotta looks Great!
Love the New ....Huge Red "Market Place" Umbrella's, and those Black Lounges.... look soooo Sophisticated and Chic!
They have also redone the Pool and the Pool Deck.......which is making us want to check it out.....while on a "Day Pass" to Terra Cotta, for some Sun by the New Pool.
So Folks......Do we pack for the Sun and Warm Temps?......or.....Do we pack Warm Jackets and Rubber Boots? lol
March in Palm Springs?......what are our chances for Hot Sun to enjoy, while being Naked by the Pool and at the Resorts?
March the 16th can't come...soon enough.
This WET UGLY Winter...... sure has us ready, for some long over due Warm "SUN" and lots of R+R....reading by the Pool!
