Doctor, I Am Fully Naked!
Have you been through medical exam fully naked? How about cystoscopy and/or colonoscopy? What were the experiences like? [CYSTOSCOPY is the procedure where a doctor examines the lining of the bladder and the urethra by a cystoscope into the penis. COLONOSCOPY is the procedure where a doctor examines the colon (large intestine) and rectum by inserting a colonoscope (a long, flexible tube) into the...
naked at dermatologist
Return to DiscussionsI had my yearly skin body check yesterday at the dermatologist. I always see the same person - a lovely woman around 35-40, she's the PA. I always strip completely naked with a gown on only. I haven't worn or owned underwear my entire adult life so there's no leaving it on. She's very thorough and at times during this - has the gown completely off most of my body and examines my dick and balls - checking everything. I have absolutely no problem at all being naked in this situation - or any other.
But I have wondered if the patient was female if the male Dr would be with the patient alone examining her while she's naked? I'm sure the answer is no.

I've had the 'reverse' on me. Since I get examined by a female doctor, they always arrange to have another colleague in the room. More often than not, it's an administrative person. I can totally see through the bullshit: i.e. prudes are afraid that the male is going to misbehave with the female doctor. Of course, it's based on some bad apple from the past. Pretty lame, in my opinion, though.
A few years ago I got thrown in jail for a minor traffic misdemeanor that no one else gets put in jail for. The jail was a disease ridden mess and I got "Molluscum Contagiosum Virus". When I got out of jail I visited several Medical Doctors and they had no idea what I had and didn't help me in any way so I visited the Dept. Of Health and one of the nurse's knew what it was and told me to see a Dermatologist. Made appointment and went in for exam. I was a new patient so they wanted to do a complete body exam, which I had no problem with as I like to get my money's worth whatever is involved. The molluscum was all over my groin so if they see the rest of me I had no problem and after over 6 months of having this I would have run threw town naked if that would have made it go away. So the exam room door opens and 3 women enter the room and start running their hands all over me and even taking pictures of different parts of my body ! They then starting injecti
A few years ago I had to go to my dermatologist for an exam. As I was led into the exam room by a nurse we went thorough the usual process of explaining what to expect and she gave me the gown and asked that I strip down to my under ware so that the doctor could do a full exam. I did as she requested. The Dr came in and was a very pleasant and professional younger man. He had me open the gown and lay on my back and examined all exposed skin area's. The whole time the female nurse was there taking notes. He asked me if it was okay to examine my private area. I said yes. I sat up on the exam table and took off my under ware without missing a beat. I think he and the nurse were surprised at my actions. I proceeded to tell them both that I was a nudist and preferred to be naked and that I almost put the gown on w/o my under ware any way. They were both very professional about it and didn 't seem to mind.
After the exam was over the doctor told me that I need to stay out of the sun to protect my skin. I said, "but Dr., I'm a nudist. How can I enjoy my freedom without being outside when it is sunny and warm?" He paused for a moment and put his hand on my shoulder said, " I understand, besides we like repeat customers". We all laughed and since that first visit I have been naked under the gown.
.Had my semi-annual dermatologist appointment yesterday and wore underwear for the first time since I tossed my last brief swimsuit.Felt more confining than ever.Considering tossing my only pair of underwear and going without next time.I must admit, however, that 3 times in the past I have done this and wound up buying a pair when my next appointment arrived.
Just ripped up my last pair and threw the scraps in the trash.
Now completely underwear free.
That was the easy part.
The difficultly will be not caving in and buying one pair for my next dermatologist appointment like I have done more than once in the past.
It seems I'm in the minority... my female dermatologist examines me alone and has NO problem with me taking the gown off as soon as she's ready to examine me. The first time I went to get a skin check, I asked her if the gown was necessary, as I'm not embarrassed in the least, being (with my wife, who is also her patient) a sometime naturist; she said "no problem", and since I always shower that morning, then go commando, I'm always totally nude for my skin check.
So far, I've had 3 skin checks this year - had a few minor pre-cancerous spots on one leg and the top of my head, so I go back every 3 months or so. After that first visit, as soon as the physician comes in, I ask "may I", and gesture with the gown, she says "sure", and I toss it over a chair and am completely nude for the rest of the appointment.
Her assistant is a sweet young Muslim woman, complete with head covering, so I am careful to wait until she's left the room after taking my blood pressure and handing me the gown, before I take off my shirt and shorts and put on the gown (leaving it untied in the back, of course).
My previous dermatologist, a man, was very abrupt and not thorough, and always had an assistant taking notes and an intern watching, and always had me keep the gown on at all times, sort of pulling and pushing at it to look at my groin (incompletely); he missed ALL the pre-cancerous spots my current dermatologist spotted immediately. She can be much more thorough and efficient as she doesn't have to waste time rearranging my gown and trying desperately not expose the skin he is suppposed to be examining.
She is very matter-of-fact, including the time she lifted my penis and scrotum to check underneath it, and recommended I use a hair dryer after showering for the area under my scrotum, to reduce the redness she saw there and prevent any sort of skin problem. Very, totally, professional.
Had my annual skin check today. I was fully dressed when the doc came in, after some small talk he asked me to take my shirt off, so shoes and socks came off as well. I unbuttoned my jeans and let them hang open. At this point, the doc could see that I had no underwear on. He did a really thorough job of my back, arms, chest. Then asked me to lose the jeans. Then a thorough check of my legs. At that point, I thought he would ask me to dress again, but no, I remained completely nude while he checked the soles of my feet and my face and head. Only after he was completely done did he ask me to dress again. This was the third time Ive seen him, and I think hes starting to get used to me! Very comprehensive skin check, and a nice manner too.
Recently bought a solid color light weight swim brief with no drawstring. While I will use it mainly for swimming I can also wear like underwear for dermatologist visits.
Went to the dermatologist wearing the swim brief under my pants.
Felt weird having them on.
After the exam. I took them off and put them in one of the large cargo pockets in my pants since I had errands to do on the way home!
