Doctor, I Am Fully Naked!
Have you been through medical exam fully naked? How about cystoscopy and/or colonoscopy? What were the experiences like? [CYSTOSCOPY is the procedure where a doctor examines the lining of the bladder and the urethra by a cystoscope into the penis. COLONOSCOPY is the procedure where a doctor examines the colon (large intestine) and rectum by inserting a colonoscope (a long, flexible tube) into the...
Doctor Visits
Return to DiscussionsMy dermatologist has been a female physician's assistant. She's totally ok with my being nude. In fact, the last time I was there, she had her female assistant with her as well as a trainee (also female). I'm standing there totally nude and I have three women checking my body out.
My previous dermatologist was a female doctor who told me she had comfort level issues with nude human bodies. That doctor/patient relationship didn't last very long.
I've been seen by a proctologist a few times in the last year. I had some hemorrhoids that were becoming annoying. My regular checked them out and then gave me a referral to a proctologist. At the first visit they gave me a drape to put over my lap. I sat on it. When the doctor came in, he got me another drape and put it in my lap. I told him that it really wasn't necessary but he insisted. Because I take an anticoagulant, he couldn't do the banding during that visit, I had to stop taking the anticoagulant and wait a week. Again, I suggested that the gown really wasn't necessary. But he insisted.
After that visit, I got an email inviting me to take a survey regarding my appointment. On the survey I said that it seems odd that the doctor required me to use a drape. I said that seem unnecessary because he is a medical doctor and has seen many nude bodies -- he should be used to it by now. I said the drape didn't do anything and considering the part of the body this doctor worked with, there should be no concern about seeing anything else.
The next time I went in, they didn't even offer me a drape. The nurse came in and did the typical vitals check and then left the room without providing me with a drape. I stripped nude and sat on the end of the exam table. The nurse came back in, didn't even act as if she noticed I was nude and helped me get into the correct position for the banding. The doctor came in, did his thing. I sat up -- still nude -- and we talked a bit. No mention of a drape or being nude.
At my regular doctor, I'm always nude while he's in the room whether there's any need for nudity or not. When the nurse leaves, she never offers me a drape or gown, because she has no idea that I'm going to take my clothing off. My doctor knows I'm a nudist and has told me that if I want to be nude, that's totally ok with him -- and it really is.
I had a full boner during one visit and I had a good partial a couple of times. It's a total non-issue -- not like he hasn't seen a boner before. I take Cialis everyday -- doesn't take much to start getting hard.
