The Oaks near Cape Paterson in Vic
Return to DiscussionsGreat spot sth east of Melb on the coast between Cape Paterson and Inverloch.
The Oaks is a public beach but if you go down and around the point to the left there is a great secluded sandy beach that is used by nudists.
Alternatively I like to walk even further to the left to the next point and sun myself on the rock ledge there. There is also a great rock pool for bathing in on a hot day.
We go here often. Its a nice walk to the spot but watch for the rising tide. With it, there are often large waves crashing against the rocky shelf, so you need to stay close to the cliff face. We have always had this beach to ourselves for hours on end.
