Return to DiscussionsJust back from my first NMF. Thanks to all who replied to my initial query. I had a good time. There are so few opportunities to live naked with other guys, so I was glad it lived up to my expectations. For those who were concerned about overt sexual activity ... I was also a bit concerned and didn't want to feel pressured / offended etc. While there was a fair amount of sexually-related comments between friends (very casual and not serious), there was very little sexual activity in public. The only two I saw were very discrete. 99% of the 170 guys were there for a good time but not at the expense of others. There were a number of activities on the program (hiking, cooking or yoga class, life drawing, jelly wrestling) that you could choose or ignore. Some guys set up their tent and didn't leave it - cooking on their own equipment etc. Others prepared meals in the communal cooking area, dining area, social area etc.As a naturally shyer person, I was pleased I went with a friend who is a lot more outgoing. However, you just had to put yourself in any of the social areas and someone would come and talk to you.
The owner of the property was very diligent in following conditions set by the local council and police to ensure that the fest ran well.
Worth going to. Hope it keeps going.

Where did you end up pitching your tent? When I went I unwisely went to the rear fence line, near the creek. It was peaceful but a pain in the arose when it came time to pack up. Felt like a nude pack mule going back and forth to the car. Anyway, glad you had a nice time. :-)
