True Beauty of the Human Soul
I find it encouraging that there are so many of us seniors among
the nudist community. We live in a society obsessed with youth, for many, beauty
is also synonymous with youthful physical appearance. Yet there is a value in the wisdom and experience we acquire with age. We've all
seen photo exhibits, or perhaps work by well known photographers as
Diane Arbus, Dorothea Lange, or even National Geographic. There's a
real beauty therein portraits of time-worn faces--the finely
etched lines describe thesubjects' appearance and place in
the world--all tell a story. Similarly our time-worn bodies tell a
story of who we are, how life has treated us. True beauty has less
to do with physical attributes but rather with the whole human
being. Being nudists gives testament to this, and as seniors we
have a lot to offer in how we portray ourselves.
