Birds come closer when I am naked
I have a secluded garden in the South of England and get out there whenever I can. I am always accompanied by my neighbourhood robin who checks out the ground I have turned over for food. Today was my first time out there naked this year and it was noticeable that when clothed he stays around 5ft away but when I was naked today he came to within 2 feet of me. Has anyone else seen this type of behaviour?

Have to agree with you on this one: one actually poop on my leg while I was sipping tea under my camphor tree, but a host of local avifauna seems to enjoy my 'nakedniness': bless their hearts...Wild

I know that birds seem to get closer to me/us in our backyard than they ever do anywhere we are fully clothed. I've sat out in the backyard and having a sandwich and I'll take some bread crumbs and sprinkle them around me and the birds will come right up to my feet and within a couple feet of me on the patio table. Not sure if it's because I'm naked but ... that's a good theory! :D
We have noticed that also. When we are in the backyard naked the birds tend to visit the feeders more often than when we are clothed. If we are lounging in the chairs they often serenade us, which is why we put up the feeders. They are adorned with their brilliantly colored feathers which makes for a more naked experience in the backyard garden.
I too have found while walkingnaked in the forest I am accepted more by the animals and birds than when I walk with clothing on. Birds come right up to me and deer aren't as skittish. I was about two feet maybe three from an owl sitting on a lower branch of a treeand it didn't fly away but just watched me. I spoke to it then went on my way. Deer also seem to listen to me when I talk with them. But if I am dressed they bound off in an instant. Birds keep their distance as well. These experiences say something about clothing I think, that we are different and dangerous when clothed and when nude we are just part of the forest.
