April 23rd - Florida Trail Hike Near Sanford

I plan to do a hike on the Florida National Scenic Trail in the Seminole State Forest on the morning of the 23rd of April. This hike will be 8.1 miles in length on a well marked trail. Anyone want to join me?

Completed a nice 8.1 mile hike between the Cassia Trailhead and the Bear Pond Trailhead. The temperature was in the low 80's with a slight breeze. The state had a large group event going on at the Bear Pond Trailhead which did not impact our hike, as we only encountered two other hikers walking in the opposite direction. The first half of the hike was well wooded with a nice tree canopy and the second half of the hike was a completely different terrain, and mostly in the sun. There were three of us on the hike.
