Storms
Friday night and Saturday evening brought severe storms to the Cypress Cove area. The resort and surrouning area has very extensive damage from high winds and hail. Carports have collapsed, trees down, debris and even some homes made uninhabitable. The crew has done a great job in keeping the resort open. Pools are now open. If you visit please yield to the workers and give them a thank you for a doing the job they are doing.
As a resident of CC I appreciate all the work done by the
staff here to clean up the mess left by the storm. Due to the power failure the restaurant had
to close down during the dinner hour and meals were not served. The
entertainment went on as scheduled.
Sunday morning I went to see what the swimming pool
situation was and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was up and running so
I was able to get in my morning swim.
Lots of damage to our area but everyone is doing what they
can to get things back to normal.
