Yes I did think to my self what have I been afraid of and why why did I not do this years ago I regret all the time I have wasted on worry it was all for nothing.
We were always naked or partially clothed at home even though we did not consider ourselves officially nudists. But, I have read many, many women express the same thoughts as you. Once they had tried nudism they wondered why they took so long in making the plunge. No one stared, no one attacked them and they were accepted for who they were no matter the size or color.

My first time nude in front of other people was at Lake Como and I recall being pretty nervous about it all, particularly as both I and a nice woman who parked her car next to mine were both removing our clothing at the same time. I was on the passenger side of mine and she on the driver side of hers. So there we were -- sure did make for a fast "get used to it" for me. And then it was a walk along the pathways to get to the swimming pool so there I was in full view of everyone. Of course as I rapidly learned, they were all happy to meet the new guy but other than that, it was just the same as walking through a textile world talking to people on the way to a swim pool. Except of course this time I was so much more comfortable after the initial mind cramp of "Wow! I'm really walking around without my clothes on. And I'm not going to get in trouble for it." An experience to never be forgotten. Maybe someday my wife will agree to give it a try and thereby learn to enjoy it as well.
