changing rooms at lakes,pool ,ocean
haven't been in few years but use to frequent a state park nearby with a lake with sandy beach for swimming , nice area to relax and enjoy sand away from ocean but the first time i went to the changing room after swimming i discover a cool open roof/air room with with small benches and hanging hooks for clothes also a gang shower so naturally i got nude and shower under the sky ( almost as good as being at a nudist camp) well half way into the shower i guess everyone was leaving and in walked several men some with boys in toy and i guess few showered nude as i could tell some were uncomfortable dried off and slipped on clothes and left but one man got nude than his son and joined me in the shower. one man i noticed was sitting on one of the benches and after a few minutes joined us not sure if he was getting up his nerve or wanted a warm shower too. went many times over two summers and enjoyed the shower as much as i enjoyed the lake.
Of course best of all would be swimming at a nude or at least CO beach so you can just change where you are and hope to find a fresh-water rinsing shower somewhere nearby. Not many textile swimming lake / ocean beaches near me have changing / shower rooms anymore. But those that do I will at least explore; some on the Caribbean Island beaches have changing facilities and sometimes a shower. So long as they don't stink from lack of cleaning, I'll take advantage of the situation. Nothing like trying to get back home or wherever you are staying wearing wet trunks and/or that sticky, salty feeling from the ocean. And changing in your car in a non-nude location just isn't right and is also dangerous from a law standpoint.
When I went to Haulove nude beach in Miami they had a men's shower area by the parking lot. I use to shower before I left so I didn't get lotion all over my leather seats. Same thing benches and a gang shower pole in the middle with 4 heads, I'd say 85% were nude some wore swim suits and I'd look at them like really???? And believe me nothing to show off here
I haven't been to Haulover Beach but am glad to see they have a change/shower facility. I'm with you on wearing swim trunks in the shower. Really. . . You were just at a C.O. beach, maybe were even nude yourself and now you want to wear trunks to take a shower? Think I might have been in trouble trying not to smirk or out-right laugh at the situation.
Most changing rooms at public beaches arent very clean so I avoid them. But a nude outdoor shower sounds great! In the state parks there are public showers with individual closed stalls set up for campers only and I've never seen any public nudity in them. Id love to find some public nude areas without going to a CO resort.
