RE: Seattle Polar Bear PlungeNoon is the official time for the Matthews Beach one, seems like it should be the time for ours too. We should definitely try to get as many people as possible and some people to record the event.

RE: Seattle Polar Bear Plungeby the way, I was wrong in my first post. The official one is at Matthews Beach not Madison Park. I still suggests we go to Howell Park although I have heard rumors of of a nude beach in Magnuson Park closer to the official plunge. Anyone now of this place or should we keep it at a known nude beach?

RE: Seattle Polar Bear PlungeSounds like good fun! I have not done a polar bear plunge in years. We had one at Rooster Rock State Park once years ago but only a few people showed up. Us it was very cold and I couldn't my nuts for two days!!!! But it was great fun. Many years ago a larger group went to Collins Beach on Sauvie Island but that has not happened again in years.I'll try to make it up to Seattle depending on the weather!

RE: Seattle Polar Bear PlungeThe weather on New Years Day is predicted to be SUNNY! Cold but clear and sunny. It would be nice to see as many people there as possible, it's a chance to get naked in the coldest part of the year. Even if you don't want to go in it would be fun to have you there.
