I just don't understand why a some straight guys get so "freaked out" if they think a gay man is watching him at a resort or beach.
They get freaked out because they fundamentally think there is something wrong, deviant, or sinful with same-sex attraction and they don't want anyone thinking they're one of those "abhorent" people.

I like how you stated that. It is more about how they see themselves rather than how they are seeing others. They are afraid of how looking at another nude male makes them feel.
I think it's more common now, but also the preference of the individual. i'm very comfortable with my sexuality and body so it doesn't bother me at all. I'm more of an exhibitionist so i love it when anyone looks at me and enjoys what they see. I don't really do it with the intention of any contact or anything sexual to happen but i just enjoy nudity and if people want to look at me and admire i'm okay with it. I've even had times where a few of us sitting in the sauna admiring each other and were aroused. I had no intention of doing anything because i'm straight but it was flattering that i could cause that for them and they enjoyed looking. I've even become aroused in that situation but we were all comfortable so it wasn't a big deal.
i agree with pdiddy1313 - i'm heterosexual myself butif i catch someone checkin me out while im' hainging outnaked in the steamroom or the gym showers .. i get a littleturned on knowing they're checkin me out.. so i even get wood.and i show it off proudly!
I am secure in who I am and with my nudity! It doesn't bother me when gay men look at me, or for that matter when anyone looks at me!! You have to be secure in who you are first before you can do anything!! The human body is a beautiful thing to look at, just don't stare at the person for hours!! If a gay man compliments me I thank him, and move on about my business!! My first wife worked for a French company in the Bay Area many years ago, and many of the French men and women who were in management were gay or lesbian, we went to many company functions textile of course!! None of the men ever tried to come on to me, they were polite and well mannered people!!
Let me start by saying, I'm new to all this.
I've been to Gunnison Beach twice now, loved it, and can't wait to go again and check out more places to be nude.
The other day, I went in the water and when I got out I realized I
shrunk up like a little boy. Then I realized, how great it felt, to not
care how little everything looked!
Frankly, I don't care!
I
don't care if you are gay, Str8, M, F, rich, poor, White, Black,
Hispanic, if you are checking me out, or if you aren't checking me out.
I love being nude and love the fact that I can be nude and no one gives a crap.
I'm in the worst shape of my life and no one gives a crap.
I love seeing and checking out everyone.
I love the human body in all shapes and sizes, M or F, and people that don't judge.
I
love friendly, non judgemental people that are comfortable enough in
their own skin to go to the nude beach and not give a crap what others think!
To me, it was one of the most open and non judgemental places I've ever been.
Don't
get me wrong! I'm sure people were there judging others, but as long as
you treat others nicely and with the respect that they deserve, I'm
happy.
Look at me or someone else and make a judgemental face or negative comment, then I'm judging you.
So I guess all I care about is how you treat others. Be Nice, be friendly and respectful.
Besides that, I don't care, look all you want!
If you find yourself staring too long, at least come up introduce yourself! lol
It doesn't bother me at all if another man is checking me out, after all I would check him out as well. The sexual preferences of the other guy are of no interest to me so it isn't an issue. I know some gay guys at the gym and when we change in the locker room they are no different than the straight guys.
I agree that it doesn't matter what gender or sexual preference the person is, they are welcome to check out my naked body! I'm really flattered as a gay man when straight men check me out & sometimes I get a nod of approval & that really boosts my confidence to hang naked wherever & whenever possible. At the Y we have individual shower stalls but since I'm an exhibitionist, I leave the curtain open, soap up my dick & turn to face out the open stall door & stroke. I have had both gay & straight guys stop to watch & compliments from both & even had a straight guy (he identified as such when he stepped into my stall) & he said he had been curious for years what it would be like to stroke another guy's dick. He took me all the way to climax & thanked me for the experience! He decided that it was OK for a straight guy to pleasure another guy, even if they are both straight. So, one and all, look at my nakedness all you want!
I have been so curious lately about this. Some heterosexual males enjoy or don't mind being looked and admired by gay males. Is this because they are comfortable in their own bodies, don't mind sharing the view, are ehxibitionist no matter what, plain nudist or few of the above? Of Course there is always respect among everyone. It is all sane and good fun. Naked.... I wouldn't mind having gay men staring at me naked. It's a compliment to me, must mean I have a nice cocktail or something. I love it when women do, but gay men staring doesn't bother me. I never have gotten lucky enough to try the nudist thing yet, but really looking forward to going for 1st time. I want to watch my gf getting naked and guys just staring at her tits
