So Sorry For Matt

I think NASCAR was way to harsh with Matt. Two races....ridiculous. I wonder what they would have done to Richard, Cale, Bobby, or Mr. Excitement himself, Jimmy Spencer, if they had done the things they did back in the old days. Back then, disagreements were settled back behind the haulers, and the next week all was well again. In the touchy feely NASCAR of today, that is not condoned, so drivers have no recourse but to swap sheet metal on the track. I believe Danika did the same thing during the same race, and was only fined. Nice and constant judging....I also congratulate NBC on their coverage of last Sunday's race. If it wasn't for the race breaking in, we could have had 4 hours of solid commercials. Thank goodness for MRN, as I turned off the sound on the television and was able to get a feel for the race by hearing the commentators on the radio.

RE: So Sorry For Matt

The only one I have anything against is Hendrix Motor sports, Seems no matter what they do, even serious infractions, the never get more than a slap on the hand.. Roger Penske is a great guy, I think he keeps his cars legal but don't mind spending the money to make them faster or better, his heart is truly in racing, along with his pocket book.
