Yesterday was a great day on the water even with a very slow bite

Storm cells were all around early but they all broke up quickly and we never saw any rain. Temps 91/92 and with dew points felt like 110/112. Water temps near shore and backwater 88 to 92 degrees. Fishing slow but two nice fish boated and two unknown sharks broke off when their tails slashed through the 80# braid after long first runs. Did land one 26 inch Snook on slack tide and later in the day one 76" Tarpon pushing 180/190 #s. Tarpon was about a 30 minute fight with several nice jumps close to the boat. Both fish released in good shape to fight another day.
