Nude man only hike planned in Melbourne Sunday 26th April

SUNDAY 26TH APRIL NUDE BUSHWALK RIVER & FOREST WALK IN THE BUNGAL STATE FORESTThis is a Nomads Outdoors Group event. On the Nomads website, aNude Eventis described as a"Special event".Grade/Length/Type:Medium 8 km circuit walk along 4WD tracks, animal pads beside the river and through the open forest. There are a couple of short steep sections. There are two proposed river crossings - you may be able to rock hop, or if not bring a small towel to dry your feet after wading through, less then knee deep.Meeting Point/Time:Meet at 10am for coffee and registration at the tourist shelter/rotunda in Ballan, corner of Inglis St (main street) and Fisken St. The exact address is 131 Inglis St Ballan. GPS co-ordinates are -37.600145 144.225648There is a coffee shop next door. Suggested parking is around the corner in Fisken St. Car convoy to the walk start (about 30 mins) leaves at 10.30am.(Optus mobile coverageis very poor in Ballan. The walk start is located 21km SW of Ballan at the corner of Gravel Pit Track and Paddock Track in the Bungal Forest.Approx Distance, Time from GPO:80kms. Allow 1hr 15mins.Public Transport:V/line train leaves Southern Cross Railway Station (Ballarat Line) at 8.28am and arrives in Ballan at 9.22am. Ballan station is 5 mins walk from the meeting place. (Check that there is not bus replacement on that day.)Cost:$5, free for Nomads members.Food:Lunch, snacks, water/drinks to take on walk.Footwear/Apparel:Comfy shoes/boots. Sunscreen, sunhat, sunglasses. Small towel to dry feet after wading across the river, or swimming. Carry a fig leaf (or shorts) in case of a very unlikely encounter with picnickers in the picnic ground! - access is by 4WD only.Activity Description:Enjoy walking nude through the forest to reach the Moorabool River (East Branch) for a relaxed lunch and stroll along the picturesque riverside. Although it's the end of summer, water is still flowing nicely along the river.We've discovered the perfect weather for nude bushwalking is 20C and sunny, which we had on our last bushwalk. Even down to 17C is OK - you keep quite warm while walking.
