I find it very comfortable to be nude around strangers and also friends, but feel the least comfortable around kin.

I'm equally happy to be naked in front of textile friends, relatives or strangers of either sex. My main criteria are that I don't offend them. Amongst people I know I'm aware of whether they will be offended. For strangers I might limit myself to a clothes-optional venue or ask them first. Having said that I have done the odd dare - being naked in places I shouldn't. Oddly I've found men to be more likely to be offended than women.
