Cat Carriers

We are in need of purchasing a new cat carrier for the one time a year we take each of our 3 furry members for their shots. It would have to be @ 23 inches long since the largest cat is that big (without his tail). Is resin/plastic or metal better?

We ended up going to SuperPets and bought a small dog carrier. It's a heavy plastic and will work very well. Now all we have to do is leave it out and open with a few treats in it every day so they get used to it.
