Addicted to nudism
I wanted to ask if anyone is addicted to being nude? I know we are all either long term or brand new nudists, but I gotta ask, are you addicted to wanting to be nude? Yesterday all I could think about was it would be so nice to be nude right now and wouldn't it be flat out awesome if I could be nude 24/7! So it got me thinking, am I addicted to nudity? My answer is that it's yes, I'm addicted to the feeling of freedom, relaxation and at times the thrill of just being nude. I'm more and more comfortable nude and doing normal activities nude. I know this is a "Duh!" Question but does anyone else feel addicted to nudity?

We had never thought of nudism as an addiction, it is more like the norm for us when we are at home or relaxing in appropriate places outdoors unless the weather is against us of course. There is no doubt that we get our clothes off pretty quickly when we reach home or reach the beach but we are not sure that it is an addiction in the way that smoking or alcohol may be, but on the other hand I don't think we could give up nudism so perhaps we are addicts!

I don't know if I would call it addicted for myself personally - simply my chosen lifestyle. Thus, I want to be able to live and work as a nudist; which is my ultimate goal and working towards achieving it. IF it is an addiction, I could certainly think of many worse things to be addicted to. ;-) I agree with your points though - social nudity is one of the most wholesome and wonderful things that one can ever experience. I wish everyone understood the true benefits of living a nudist lifestyle. I think it's important that we do our best to promote and educate others. To clear up any misconceptions. Nevertheless, I hope you are having a great naked day!
The question is backwards. Being naked is simply our natural state. Most of the world is addicted to the unnatural practice of covering their body with clothing, even when that is uncomfortable, impractical, and unhealthy. THAT's an addiction!
I think we have to look at this with a bit of "tongue in cheek" as I often jokingly warn others they need to be aware that nudity is addictive. Yes I realise that addiction is defined asa state that is characterized by either compulsive drug use or compulsive engagement in rewarding behavior, despite adverse consequences.
and I suppose that if we were to take that literally, then it could seldom be correctly classified as an addition. But whilst not thinking it iscompulsive, I do find that the more youengagein nude situations, the less we feel confronted and the more we prefer that as lifestyle of choice. So to be perfectly literal, I suppose not addictive - but certainly a lifestyle of choice whenopportunityavails itself.
