Do some folks really want to meet others?
I hear, after the fact, about many events that were held but no one publicized them. People are always saying that they want to meet new friends but their actions speak otherwise. If you want to expand your circle of friends and are having an event, please let others know about it. Publicizing an event does not mean you are inviting the whole world to attend. You can specify the demographics of the people you'd like to attend and can screen the people who respond. Keeping your party guests to a manageable number not only makes sense but your regulars will appreciate it too, but it is always nice to meet one or two new guests at every event. Who knows, some of these new guests will turn into your best friends. Having a party? Let others know about it and this group at TN is a good place to start.
I have met several friends on here for drinks or nude hikes or just hanging at my place watching a movie. I think that most people don't advertise meetings cause there are a few undesirable people who are on here just for sex or voyeurs. By getting to know people a little better and not just having a stranger over, you filter out a lot of people. Besides, i am not sure i as a 44 year old gay man I would invite a 22 year old straight man. Not sure how much we would have in common.
Cheers, Chris
