Bates Beach Cleanup and Party!
If any nudists in Southern California are free on Saturday, 9/20, we'd like to invite you a Beach Cleanup & Party!
Bates Beach, known to some as North Rincon Beach is located on the border of Ventura and Santa Barbara counties at the end of the Bates Road exit off the 101 Fwy, a couple of miles south of Carpinteria.
For the past number of years, we have been working on restoring the clothing-optional section of the beach that was traditional for over 30 years. We want to bring back the fun that used to be common there, and
show the local community that naturists are also good stewards of the beach.
In conjunction with all the other beach cleanups throughout the state on Saturday, we'll do a cleanup on Bates from 9am until noon.
Please come on out to Bates, lend a hand, and show your support!
After the cleanup is done, we'll hike up the beach to the traditional clothing-optional area and enjoy the beach for the rest of the day with a party.
Bring your own picnic supplies, chairs, and sunscreen and make a day of it.
We will be located on the beach about 500 yards north of the ramp down to the sand.
Look for the "I Love Bates Beach" banner on the beach.
The Santa Barbara nudity law remains in effect. Persons removing their swimsuit do so at their own risk,
although we've had no problems or confrontations for the last two years at our monthly parties.
Go as bare as you dare!
