we like taking photos of the resorts we visit , we always ask before taking photos and wait until after the weekend to take photos if we want a photo of someone we know we always ask their permission , and many of the photos don't have anyone in them at all just beautiful scenery ..Donna why is it ok for members but not visitors ?
BTW, Donna is my middle name. No problem; you aren't the first and probably won't be the last.I think you're directing the question to me.
Visitors are those who have not yet been vetted through the Registries that list the perpetrators or allegedperpetrators. I don't take chances when it comes to children. I also said it's okay with the subjects. We have only 7 acres, and there's a privacy fence about 1/3 of it. This coming weekend, we are taking reservations and asking what clubs, beaches, resorts you've visited and getting a copy of drivers' license from those we've never before met unless they're friends of member.
The policy at our local camp is not in common areas. You can have it at your campsite or friends or members sites if they approve.
You must also sign a release upon entrance to the camp. You must forfeit your device and be banned from camp, if the rules are not followed. There is a camp photographer to take pictures with verbal permission of adults. Written permission of parent or guardian for minors.
Not about, not following the rules - the younger generation is looking for more than 'connectivity' at their club - sadly they don't seem to have the funds to pay for it.
I do not have the faintest idea what you just said. "connectivity"??? Something they have to pay for???
Showing your age Thomas? No, I just don't understand gibberish
renebare, I find it hard to understand how it is you feel that way about having your picture possibly showing up on a porn site, the ramifications of it on your occupation, career, ... your livelihood but yet ... you have all kinds of pictures of yourself on this nudist site. How is having someone take your picture at a nude venue different than you posting a dozen pictures of yourself on this site where anyone with a little bit of knowledge could easily copy and paste these photos onto a site you would be concerned with. Granted ... this isn't a "porn" site but you still have information aboutyourself and pictures of yourself. Isn't that taking a bigger risk than someone "possibly" taking your picture while you're at a nude resort or a beach? Just asking for your thoughts and clarification... :-)

The chances of someone taking my photo without permission on the beach are slim, at a resort due to no-photo rules slimmer, and in my garden slimmer still. But if the rules on resort photography were to change then I believe that most of us would sooner or later appear on websites, unwanted.
As a nudist I am not ashamed by our choice to live as clothes free as is possible, but would be embarrassed by having this fact being known by others around me. An embarrassment in financial terms. How many nudists out there would not feel the same way if their livelihood depended upon how their neighbours, customers, suppliers, co-workers and piers perceived them?
All my photos with other nudists are taken with their permission and posted here with their knowledge (of this site) and again permission.Yes displaying our photos here shows an amount of trust in the website and the majority of users. And with supposedly 220K users I trust I can hide in 'herd anonymity'.Having my photos taken and published in a nudist magazine were not a problem as the circulation was relatively small. It is not the taking of photos but rather what is done with them, don't you think?
Lastly, there are many profiles here who appear to believe nudism is a by-word for so called freedom. Nudism is only about freedom from clothing.I hope this, in a small way explains how I and many other nudists feel about the creeping movement to have photography (without implicit permission) made acceptable.
Thanks renebare ... I understand what you're saying ... BUT ... to me and many others, it really makes no sense at all when you're concerned about your picture being taken and used on certain sites but you willingly post pictures of yourself and have a perception that it's "safe." Nothing is safe on the net, we know that or we all should. You're more apt to be seen on the net than you are at a nude resort or a porn site. With ALL these people on here, how can you feel safer than you would at a resort or beach? It just seems a bit contradictory to be open on a site that has so many questionable people as "members" and feel you, your pictures and information are safe. Just my thoughts ... anyway. Thanks for you input and explanation. :-)
