Gay Nudist Campgrounds
I am traveling the Northeastern US stopping at Gay Nude Campgrounds. And I will tell you there area few really nice ones. I was wondering if we could start a thread discussing what kind of experience people have had at the various places. Last week I stayed at MountainSide in New Hampshire, Just across the river from Brattleboro, VT. It was a very nice friendly place with a good group of regulars and occasionals. The owners were very nice. They do this on weekends as they have real jobs too. but they do keep the place very nice. The pricingas a little high, but thats what you get with a small cozy place in the middle of fantastic country. They don't have a pool, but lot of lawn and a near professional Bocci court. Also the have a nice communal outdoor kitchen area they all enjoy Saturday night dinner together. They even invited me and I must say I ate very well.. Even homemade pie with ice cream !!
This week I am at the Woods Campground in Lehighton, PA, just NW of Allentown. This is a first class place that is growing and improving weekly. They are fully staffed with all kinds of helpers and I will bet they will out do some of the Island resorts before long. Actually I'm camped out way out in a field at the moment and they even have Wifi way out here. And all for$15 a Night.
Lastly, I have gone to Jones Pond several times in the last few years. Each time it gets more and more crowded. Everyone is friendly, but the pool is way up the hill from the transient campers and is fairly small. Also you have to cross a "no Nudity Zone". Where is the fun in that? They do have awesome night dances and parties, but so does the woods and many others. Jones is a bit more touchy feely between folks once you get on to the dance floor, but still very respectful of what you want and where you want to go with the friendships.
I still have 2-3 more to visit... anyone else been to any of these?
I am in complete agreement with you about Mountainside. It's a great place, the guys are great, and the grounds are lovely. Best of all, it's only a few miles from my favorite nude spot in New England - Rock River!

I would like to find a friend to go camping with. We could get individual sites since we wouldn't know each other, and if a friendship does develop maybe we can share the same site.I was looking into a nude campground in NH, guessing it's the same place you mentioned as it is close to Brattleboro. What drew my interest to this site was it being close to The Ledges where a lot of gays swim. There also some in the woods sex going on.I was considering a VT state campground. They have lean-tos that are large enough to put my tent on to keep it off the ground. I didn't mind the clothing requirement since I would be spending most of my time at The Ledges.I could be persuaded in going to the nude campground.Thanks for entering the discussion topic.

There's a great gay, clothing-optional campground in southern Indiana, near Corydon. It's Stag Run. You can be naked on the grounds after dark and naked by the pool due to neighbors and the nearby road. Once I get there I'm never dressed and even drove home naked yesterday.

The distance from MountainSide to the Ledges is quite far, and the roads leave much to be desired. Rock River is a "Gay Mecca" and is about 10 miles from Montainside. For the ledges it is much closer to stay at Molly Stark State park, or Woodford State park. And the ledges are pretty strictly patrolled to keep sex out of the area as they have had some real serious fights with the locals about closing it down due to sex in the woods.
My Advice is go to Mountains side and tell them "the Aframe guy" sent you. They will tell you where to go to find action at rock river.
