Advice for a Virgin Burner
Leave no trace.
Seriously though...get a good set of goggles...(I got mine at an army/navy store that work awesome). Make sure you bring plenty of clothes as it gets very windy during the day when dust storms kick up and it can be very chilly at night at times. Make sure you bring things to wear that you would probably never wear at home. Be a participant...not a spectator. Rent a bike..this is crucial to getting around the playa. There are a few outfits in Reno that will sell you a reclaimed bike. Bring enough food and water and then bring even more water. Bring enough for yourself and bring something for others. Gifting to others is always appreciated. Invite others into your camp. meet people. Experience it all. Have fun.
