Does anyone else love to Flyfish?

I was taught by my uncle when I was about 10 years old how to look like I was flyfishing. It took a lot of years for me to become remotely good at it. Do any of you love the art also? I have been to the Spring River, White River, Eleven Point River and to a lot of lakes to fish. Where are the best Flyfishing spots you know?

I have never tried flyfishing, don't have any desire to catch flys. LOL
Seriously, where I fish is not common to fly fish. I fish mainly for bass in lakes so fly fishing would not work well. There are some on here that do, check out nude fishing group, there are some who have stated they do go fly fishing. Feel free to join, when I created it I did not set approval required to join.

The longer it stays cold the more I long for a warm sunny day, standing in the river and casting that fly over into a group of lillypads. Dont really care if I catch anything as long as I stay warm.

When I was first out of school I worked for a swimming pool company installing in ground pools. I remember being on a job one day when those things kept biting me all day. Felt like a pellet gun hitting me every time. It was miserable. But the almighty dollar made me stay.

I became interested in fly fishing while I was working a contract assignment out east back in 2000. I visited several shops looking at what was needed to start and inquired into lessons. Unfortunately, I never pulled the trigger which is a shame since there areso manyplaces to go flyfishing in MA and CT.
I still have the interest, I just need to get off my butt and do it.

It seems that deer flies have teeth and aren't scared away by Deep Woods Off either.

i too learned to flyfish from an uncle. i don't really flyfish though as i mainly fish lake erie and flyfishing isn't exactly the most productive way to fish for walleye. (caught a 6lb'er last week end)
think the last time i flyfished was in college and my flyfishing outfished my roommate and his friend in a small pond 3 -1.

I been teaching myself how to flyfish in saltwater and was doing pretty good until I had to have some surgery, now I guess I am going to have to start all over again.
