Basic Instinct

So for the 100th time, a portuguese t.v channel has aired Basic Instinct, one of the most controversial movies to come out of Hollywood in recent years. Although many, many movies have been released after it, and some did try their best to push the boundary, as far as sex scenes were concerned, there is still something about Basic Instinct that seems to be quite intriguing until this day. From the story itself to the dialogues and to Sharon Stones sensational performance, the movie still polarizes audiences, some saying that is nothing more than softcore porn and others calling a little masterpiece. Personally, I have to say that I liked it, and I must say that I had more problems with the violence rather than the sex. I still think that Sharon Stone steals the show and that music theme is simply brilliant. What about you guys ? What did you think of the movie ?
