Is field 5 in Robert Mosses still clothing optional??Robert Moses is a New York State beach and was never ever clothing optional! Lighthouse Beach, just to the east of Robert Moses Parking Field 5 on Fire Island is federal land and part of the Fire Island National Seashore. Following Superstorm Sandy, the Fire Island Seashore Management began to enforce New York State Law on the federal land and ended generations and decades of clothing optional use.
