Apollo beach (near New Smyrna beach, Florida) and Vitambi Springs
Are those two good places in Florida where you can be a naturalist?
I can vouch for Vitambi Springs. It's a rustic and well isolated compound for men, located in south Florida. A buddy and I went to VS last year for a nude weekend event and had a great time. There are comfortable cottages, thatched huts and spacious camp sites--all within easy reach of community restrooms. There's even a small lake stocked with bass (if I remember correctly). The clubhouse is run by a friendly and helpful staff and consists of the registration desk, a dining room, bar and dance hall. When we were there the owners were making a lot of upgrades to the property and I'll leave those assessments to anyone who's been there more recently than I. I had a great time and look forward to going back again.
