Hunstanton area

Hello,
My wife and I would like to spend some time in the Hunstanton (beaches) area as we believe there is a naturist beach there can anyone confirm this for us please and what is it like ? we are both keen walkers so walking to a beach is part of the fun for us :-)

Hi
Thanks for the information, a little dissapointing that a few short sighted people can have such an affect, however it is what it is I guess, lets see what happens in September ?
Do you know of any others in the area ?
I wonder if it makes a difference to local "sales" maybe that will help to "enlighten" theses people ?? Its a bit like banning all road users because a minority, doesn't drive within the legal limits and laws !

It's fair to say that on my visits, I did see 'meerkats' in the dunes, but I think you get that most places. There were a few MM sexual encounters going on at the back of the dunes too, but no where near as much as at Studland!
It's a great beach, and a shame it's been closed. I understand nudism is still practised there though, but I haven't been this year.
The next I know of (a good step away) is Corton at Lowestoft. That is administered by Waveney District Council and is also officially closed due to coastal erosion, but nudism is definitely alive and well there. I've been 1/2 dozen times this year. That said, it's not especially pretty, and I found it very dirty. There is also 'activity' at the back of the narrow beach and at the extreme northern end, as well as a gay cruising area further south, on the clifftops, in the trees. In general, I found it fairly unpleasant.
Further north, on the Lincolnshire coast is the very wide beach at Theddlethorpe St Helen. A huge flat beach with small dunes at the rear, but it is strictly unofficial!
Hope this helps..........
Kind Regards
Tony.
