Flagging & Moderation
Hi Members and Moderators.I have seen how nice the forum has been.What I was wondering and am kind of nervous/anxious to ask with respect.Is it true that the moderators are friends with the small group of people that are offensive or rude?And is that why their comments have been allowed. I guess I'm on my soapbox because I'm really excited that I may be able to use the site again without feeling bad about myself.I thought that perhaps if that perception exists, perhaps people choose not to flag?Love to hear from all.I think we need to do a massive clean up and remove anything that will put new people signing up or leave quickly or again and again.It's a business and it needs to be tidy and supportive. There shouldn't be any rude or bigoted comments. It's totally the wrong look.

Hopefully he'll actually formulate a reply with substance and not vomit more rubbish. Frustrating thing is MOW you could teach people so damn much, but I guessing being rude is far easier
Isn't it ironic that the people who complain the most about the forums and post the rules are the ones who are the worst offenders on them? Discouraging people, insulting them, using the most profanity, trying to limit participants based on their own political or religious beliefs. It's the way of all fascists.
The concept of forum mods has been brought up for several years, without effect. Flagging is a poor substitute and is infamous for the instances of vendetta flagging, where posts are flagged solely because the flagger disagrees with them. A very small group of disruptors is notorious for it, and one even brags about it.It's doubtful that mods will ever be appointed to the forums, but they have become playgrounds for children and are largely irrelevant anyway. Most of the one-time forum regulars have disappeared or stopped posting. There is little hope of the forums ever regaining even a shadow of their former worth. Peace and blessings!
Yes brah NIMA, it's a sad time when decent and respectful members of the community like yourself cannot enjoy the forums without these few obnoxious little social misfits spewing their garbage.
I find that MOW is a wicked and very dry humorous and have never taken offence at anything he has posted although some comments are borderline
