RE: whats your next adventure

we have a state park within 30 miles or so that has about 9 lakes , trails and even a gun range and i think i'll take my yak , fishing rod and snack and go check it out. this park is a little different when you pay a yearly user fee to use it but i think it will be worth it. the lakes range from a acre to 90 acres i think. also want to hit the chattahoochee river - and yes it is brrr cold even into the hot days of summer.

I have arranged a canoe/kayak trip for July 27 for Travelites, but cannot go this year - They'll be on a SC/NC Low Country River.

Taking a canoe and jonboat to our place in N.C. Plan to go canoing some in Lake Hiawasse although if my son is with me it won't be nude. Might get some time alone though. Also might try and slip over to either Serendipity or Paradise Valley. Haven't been to either one yet.

Am going to try an overnight in the national park. Chilly at night but worth it for the bracing early morning dip.
