Nudists are stuck up!
I am so tied of the stigma of the male nudist. Just because I am single and a nudist does not mean I am some kind of sexual pervert. I've tried to reach out for years, to find local nudist with whom I can spend time with rather than practicing nudism in solidarity, but there is no one interested in even communicating with me. Not a single returned message. Weird, I thought young/younger people would be encouraged to join the lifestyle. Not ignored. I don't get it.

DAK, I know exactly how you feel. My only suggestions involve putting on your clothes and going out. Go visit a club (either landed or non-landed) near you. Then you can meet other nuders face-to-face. The two best sites that list legitimate clubs are the TNS and AANR sites.

I'm a 36 year old male and I have to travel 4 hrs to even get to a nudist beach. And I've never bothered. I've been for swims at outback creeks and deserted gulfs. It's not the same, no community. It feels secret even when friends are there clothed or not.I wanted to try a club. But single men are seen by some as perverts I guess. And I've seen a guy I used to know be just that. I don't want to be perceived as that. Just me. Haha and my own advice would be to go, if the vibe is off leave. :)

It is just this type of behaviour that brings the problems of 'single males'. Many who are genuine feel aggrieved, rightly so!

Well spotted, Rene. I never noticed he was using Beckham's picture. Beckham changes his appearance more times than his wife changes her underwear

It's like many social double standards. If you were a girl, then crowds of people would be falling over themselves to socialise with you. Look at the way nudity is generally portrayed in the mass media: Female who is/admits to enjoying being naked is 'awesome, empowered and liberating'. Aguy on the other hand is portrayed as goofy and comical... or perverted as you say.It's unfortunate, as I would guess the majority of nudists are single males, or if they are couples, the nudism was more than likely the man's idea. I can't back this up with data or anything... I'm just sayin' :)
