RE: shaving?

I clip from the chest down, I start the chest at a 5 and then fade to a 1 in the pubic area. I shave my scrotum and the shaft. I have also gone for one 1 laser hair removal for my shaft, scrotum, perineum and my around my anus. I am happy with the laser results on my perineum and around my anus, but I am not happy with the laser on my shaft or my scrotum. I don't see any difference after 1 session. I think I will do a second on all 4 to see if I notice anything. Again, it is a matter of choice by oneself and the partner.

RE: shaving?

I sugar whole body below the neck. Lasts about 6 weeks. I only trim facial hair, I like how the stubble feels. I started shaving body hair in high school because my body hair is patchy. Shaved facial hair for the same reason until I developed seborrheic dermatitis. Don't like the beard look, so a close trim twice weekly. I've gone through cycles of shaving and not for body and pubic hair. Always prefer smooth over hair, but get tired of the upkeep and let it go for awhile. Then finally return. What is "sugar whole body"? I've never heard of sugar being used to shave. I've read of people using sugar and oil to exfoliate.

I've read of people using sugar and oil to exfoliate.Sugaring, sugar waxing or Persian waxing is a method of hair removal that has been in use since 1900BC. Historically, sugar was confined to the regions surrounding Papua New Guinea until the first millennium AD. As a result, it is speculated that honey was the first sugaring agent. Sugaring was also known as sukkar in the Middle East and in Egypt, as ada in Turkey, and as moum in Iran.Sugaring is often compared to standard waxing. During the process, a sugaring substrate sticks to and essentially removes hair without attaching to the skin. The substrate can be applied at room temperature or heated to a lukewarm temperature, minimizing the risk of burns. For this reason, sugaring is generally preferred over waxing when it comes to removing hair from larger areas of skin. Nevertheless, sugaring can result in skin irritation, sensitivity, and reaction. However, this can sometimes be prevented by taking an anti-histamine. Sugar itself is otherwise hypoallergenic. There are some distinct differences between home and professional-use sugar paste. The majority of store-bought products contain wax, while homemade pastes often utilize sugar and other natural ingredients.

Thanks. I'd never heard of this before. I assume this would be as painful as a waxing.

There is a motion picture named "Caramel" about abeauty shop in a mid-eastern country. It is popular in that part of the world to use caramel to remove body hair. It's the same as other shops using hot wax for hair removal.
When I was a kid I used to make peanut brittle at home. It was easy. You just put some sugar in a pan and heated it until it melted. Mix in some nuts and pour it into a greased dinner plate to harden. We used a dinner plate so the candy wouldn't be too thick and was easier to break apart and eat. If you didn't grease the dish, it was impossible to get the brittle out of the dish. Try it. It's fun and tastes good.
Caramel is made in a similar fashion. Melt the sugar in a pan and add a small amount of lemon juice. The lemon juice will prevent the candy from hardening and remain pliable. Be careful about the temperature because hot candy can seriously burn the skin. This can be remolded to keep stripping new areas. It's like working with play-doh. This can be reused several times by reheating in the microwave to make it pliable enough to use.
I have never tried this form of hair removal but have only read about it. If someone tries it, let us know how it works out. Also let us know how your peanut brittle tasted.

I don't believe the evolutionary crap! I believe God created us naked and that's the way we should be if practical and permissable. I think it's your own choice to shave or not to shave...personal preference of mine is to shave some parts and not others. I do think the COMPLETELY shaved body is a little funny looking. Lol

i shave my face except for goatee (wife loves it) . i also do shave my scrotum and at times i will shave the entire groin area. i like the feel of it, my wife shaves above her vagina but keeps hair down there, i would perfer it to be shaved there as well but its her choice.

Thanks. I'd never heard of this before. I assume this would be as painful as a waxing.I happen to have a high tolerance for pain, according to my doctors and my esthetician. BUT ... with each waxing the sting I feel decreases substantially, which would mean that it would for most people. The only time I flinch a little is if I let the hair grow too long and it's only when she removes the hair from under my penis and from the middle section of my scrotum, which she does all at once. That's the only time I tend to feel a little more than a sting. But she will apply slight pressure afterwards to this area with her hand and within 2-3seconds ... the sting subsides and then is gone.

RE: shaving?

Shaving depends on personal tastes. Some people believe that the human body is more attractive shaved, some feel un-shaved. But I think most like something in between and this seems to vary depending on location.
I have experimented with many of the variations with my partners, and the experimentation has been enjoyable, but I tend to lean towards low maintenance and find the natural look attractive on women and personally comfortable for me.I would have no problem going either way if my partner had a preference.

RE: shaving?

In the past 11 years, I have been smooth to mildly hairy. As a young man. I was fairly hairy but as I got older much of the hair on my lower legs is gone. In 2003,I joined AANR and a local club and started shaving my pubic hair and trimming body hair. Shortly after, I began competing in Masters swimming so shaved my entire body for several years. Due to health reasons, I had to quit competitive swimming and now use a beard trimmer to keep my body hair at the shortest setting. I love the feel of my body smooth but don't like the ingrown hair that sometimes goes along with shaving. My club probably has about 75% shaved members.(no pun intended)
