Please revise banning system
The system of banning is very bad, lots complaining. Seems am banned forinnocuouslyreplying to an email and not paying attention to room. Moderators powers need curbing, maybe some need tranquillisers too. Is three days I been banned and only contact I can find is with inquiries in Arizona who said they 'cannot comment' nothing more. Is shame because is a potentially wonderful site. Anyone with any say reading this please listen to my appeal.
Thank you, finally elicited a response. Whether you accept it or not, the site lacks any system of feedback, isnt clear that it is confined to just the forums. There is also no advice anywhere the difference between kicked out and banned or how long the 'punishment' lasts. If kicked out could presume be for 24 hours, after three days seems to be at a whim of a ban, perhaps even permanent. But following my 'jumping on the bandwagon and whining" am pleased you have finally relented with your arbitrary powers.
If you dont listen to others perhaps you can take the hint that the action of moderators are over-zealous. I leave it to other to suggest that they get power happy because seemingly have some kind of position and authority. Unsure if the powers in Arizona are aware of the behaviour.
As for my case, I always show my face in compliance for hours if you or your fellow moderators have noticed. The instance you refer to is when I was separately reply to a email and did not have the chatroom page up for few minutes to notice my face inadvertently strayed towards computer out of view and was not even aware of any warning. And is a warning for what out of hours on cam? What about when need go to the bathroom or get disturbed at home while on cam. Is justification to boot people out. Is it such a criminal offence?
Shame about your attitude but just hope we all live and learn. No hard feelings, even if so hard heaaded.
It's alarming to think that any member keeps "screen shots". That's a clear violation of privacy.
A-ha... That makes me a touch uncomfortable. I'm guessing there's a time limit that they're deleted. And are they just sitting on someone's home PC?
