RE: If it saves just one life, isn't it worth it to give this a try?

And how does that matter if private sales and gun shows are not obligated to do background checks? That's the primary way that the mass shooters get their guns?

At least you are consistent with your false facts though!

I'm positive that the fed gov't REQUIRES very accurate records from the gun manufacturers in reference to every model they ship or keep in house. Every new gun is bought with the required background check - hence, all weapons sold new, are legal. As for profits, why else would a company be in business?Oh don't forget that the records of a certain number (reported to be in the thousands) of legally purchased guns by the government were probably not properly done as they mysteriously fell into the hands of the mexican drug cartels which used them to kill thousands of innocent Mexican citizens and two US border patrol agents! God only knows how many of them are making it illegally into the hands of Mexican street gangs too! But the left wingers here will certainly tell you that if the Gun manufacturers didn't make them in the first place, this wouldn't have been a problem!

So you have called anyone who has or supports gun control "sheep". Did you mean that as a compliment? A term of respect? Or was it meant to demean and insult? Try being honest here please. Would it surprise you that someone would object to that term? And respond in kind with another demeaning insult?

Would it surprise you that someone would object to that term? And respond in kind with another demeaning insult?I'd be happy to answer that for you! It has been said rather eloquently that there are three kinds of people in this world! Sheep which comprise most people! They go through life, thinking nothing will ever happen to them, they are generally happy, but often fail to realize that there is evil in this world! Then there are wolves (No offense against wolves the animals because it's just their instinct) which are the predators entrenched in evil and will stop at nothing to spread this evil around the world (This comprises of criminals, corrupt politicians (which sadly most are) and just plain ole bad guys) and then there are a relatively small number of people on this earth called "Sheep Dogs" which are the protectors of the flock, the good guys, the people that recognize that there is evil and have a love of country, and of everyone but always remain vigilant and realize that evil can strike at any time! Sheep Dogs are the kind of people that will be there to protect anyone that needs it, yet the people who might need it someday (Sheep) often ridicule the Sheep Dog for even being there because in their minds, he is not necessary, but when the wolf shows up, they gladly accept the work of the Sheep Dog!
So if you are insulted by it, then it's your prerogative, however My analogy is meant to demonstrate true facts of human nature!

A simplistic and jejune analogy in which you obviously believe that you are a sheep dog. I'd consider that an insult as well, but if it works for you, great.

So if you can call me a sheep, why can't I call you a gun-loving psycho? It's only an insult if you choose to read it as so. Right? I think that "analogy" works.

And you as well. I guess we have more in common than we think. You keep proving my point. Bravo!

It's ironic to the extreme. Everything that you accuse me of you commit first. Amazing.
