Travel Guide: Just a reminder that important information concerning cruise terminal location, parking, hotel accommodation, onboard policies etc. can be found on our website at .
Shore Excursions: In addition to the stellar shopping, cultural, and ecological tours offered by Carnival, the cruise line has also lined up a nice group of Clothing-Optional Tours (identifiable with a "CO" next to the tour description) and Top Free/Topless (look for "TF" in the tour description) excursions at each port of call. Because these are specially arranged for our charter, Carnival has advised that these tour descriptions will not be visible or available for booking until Monday morning, January 14th. These special tours include the ever popular Passion Island in Cozumel, Puerto Viejo Beach Break and shopping in Costa Rica and Portobello Island in Colon, Panama. You are free to go on line now to pre-register for the cruise, print your boarding documents and luggage tags, and sign up for any onboard spa treatments and/or shore excursions you wish to. We have been assured by Carnival that the clothing-optional and other special tours will be up no later than Monday t
he 14th so check in often to your online booking information to be assured of participating on the CO tours you wish.

A Word About Flu Season: All major news services are reporting the worst flu epidemic in decades.
Carnival has drastically reduced the presence of the flu virus on board its vessels. For example, all surfaces are wiped down between each cruise and hand sanitizers are placed where they will do the most good. Unfortunately these actions alone are not enough to assure the good health of our cruise.
The following are common sense actions we urge you to take to help assure a flu free voyage.
- Get a flu shot now, if you have not done so already. If you have any concerns call your Doctor for his advice.
- Wash your hands while on board as often as possible. The dispensing machines on board kill bacteria, but not influenza or other viruses.
- Consider using a mask on your flight. It only takes one sneeze to spread the bug 20 feet for 2 hours.
- Consider having your Doctor prescribe an anti-viral medication like Tamiflu to take with you. To be effective it must be taken early.

We hope you find this information has been useful in helping you prepare for your cruise vacation. We are as excited as you are to be underway and look forward to setting sail with you next month on what will be the largest nudist cruise event in history!
Naturally yours,
The Staff of Bare Necessities Tour and Travel Company - 800-743-0405CC-Greg And Rhonda LOL

RE: Excursions - Panama Canal

The only non-automated piece is adding your VIFP number (Carnival's frequent guest program) to your booking. We had to call Carnival and have them manually add ours. So far, the only CO excursions showing up are in Cozumel: a Passion Island beach day and a Twister Boat excursion that also drops you off on Passion Island.
There are lots of non-CO excursions available now, though.
