Gay nude camping in So Cal
Thank you so much for the info. We will check it out.
Let me qualify my recommendation by saying I'm not gay, however, you might check out Deep Creek Hot Springs, near Hesperia. You can camp at Bowen Ranch, which is about a 2 and a half mile hike from the springs. It's pretty open as far as nudity, sexual orientation, and "substances". Just don't take any glass to the creek, start any fires at the creek, or camp at the creek. (Fires on Bowen Ranch itself may or may not be OK, depending on the fire risk at the time...check at the ranch house when you arrive.) There's NOTHING at Bowen ranch but open high-desert ground to primitive camp on. Hiking's good, creek and hot springs are really nice, but the area needs responsible visitors that will take care of it, pack out their trash, etc. The Pacific Crest Trail follows the creek for several miles, and can be accessed near the hot springs.I've hiked many miles of the trails nude without any problem. You should take some cover-up with you, just in case, though. ABOVE ALL...take PLENTY of water with you. The hike back up from the creek can be long and dry, and there's about a 1000 foot elevation rise over that 2.5 miles.Jim
