I grew up in south florida - not born there but there are tons of rivers , canals and the atlantic and the gulf to paddle. A close trip would be the panhandle with all that white sandy beach and the forgotten coast where you could bare yourself as you paddle along. years ago we went down around carrabelle and to the east of there wow there is paradise and not crowded. I think that would be some great paddleing.

i also think kayaking the Mississippi river would be cool, many folks have canoe - kayak the river but i think if i did the Miss i'd do it in a shantyboat ( anyone ever read Shantyboat by Hubbard - great adventure) and pull my kayak behind.

when i lived in south florida i use to go out to the everglades but now it's now full of super snake gators and crocs, yeah they were there back in the 60's and 70's but never really seen them now they are all over the glades and south florida so little leary of yaking it unless in group.

i can't wait till spring to yak the chattahoochee river , it's a little built up but once away from the ramp and clear the bridge 500 ft north and since my yak is a sit in i can pretty much get nude after that and paddle for miles and except for other boats i'm pretty safe to enjoy the day . i have several places to swim nude even though the hootch is brrrrrrrrrrr cold 365 days a year it feel good after a long paddle. as for rangers they have been cut so thin and their territory so large you hardly see them. again hopefully april it will warm enough to enjoy some nude yaking.
