Saling and landing naked
I was camped (naked of course) on an island at the edge of the Everglades National Park when a 20 something foot sloop turned in off the Gulf of Mexico to gunkhole in the lee of the island. Within a half hour of them disappearing around a bend of the island, a man in VERY short cutoffs and no shoes came walking down the beach and through my campsite. We chatted a while, and before he went back to his boat he said "If I stop here again, I probably won't wear shorts, but I will wear sandals" (He had learned the hard way what sandspurs are.)
CampingBare- are you the guy who wrote all those Naturist FL camping books? I read a lot of them last month. Great Stories.I was in SW FL last month for a few days and got a lot of sailing in. Hardly saw any other boats out there. I figure, once a couple hundred yards offshore I'm safe. Can't wait to return next month.
Why yes, yes I am :)
Glad you enjoyed them. Someone suggested I put them on Kindle, and after seeing the Jayne's Nature series, I figured why not? Did you see the guidebook (Naturist Camping in Florida)?
