What do you think of the Fall Lineup?I am looking forward to the Season Premiere of "Bones" tonight.
I'll be watching Bones, Survivor, Two and Half Men, Glee, Big Bang Theory (Just got into this and am playing catchup on reruns of previous seasons), and New Girl. I will give Whitney and Up All night a re-look, as they are supposed to re-tool. I wasn't real impressed before. Also, Last Man Standing, which I enjoyed, is making cast changes, so it will be interesting to see where it goes. I will give American Idol a chance, but I can't stand Nicki Minaj. I can't believe they hired her, and I can't believe what they're paying her. It may be interesting to see what sparks fly between her and Mariah Carey, and we know Randy will take Mariah side.I will miss Stargate: Universe. I thought it was good.New shows I will be trying out include Go On (I liked the ones I've seen so far), Last Resort, and Elementary (Which seems like it's going to be very similar to The Finder, which I liked).John aka cobeachbum
There will be lots of extra room on the DVR this Fall.
The new slate of shows is pretty slim this year. Enjoyed "Revolution" last night. Not bowled over by it, it was OK, but we'll give it a few more episodes to see how it develops. As a SciFi/Fantasy/Comic Geek, looking forward to checking in on "Last Resort" and "Arrow".
As a Sherlock Holmes fan it'll be interesting to see the modern day update on "Elementary". May check out "Nashville", just because Connie Britton makes anything she's in better, and there's a good buzz on "The Mindy Project", with Mindy Kaling being compared to the new Tina Fey.
Gotta say though, the show I'm most looking forward to is the new Ken Burns documentary, "The Dust Bowl".
Whatever his subject is, he has such a great way of making our history so real and involving.
For us, TV writing and acting is still dominated by the productions on the cable trifecta of HBO/Showtime/AMC.
Better than most first run movies now.
