Just now able to fully participate
I signed up for this site awhile back but was never able to do anything with my only access via a mobile phone. I just got a computer and will be updating my profile with pictures, videos, and information very soon. I will be getting verified the second I can get one of my friends to help me take the necessary pictures.
I have always enjoyed being nude and have been so every chance I've gotten. Around 5 years ago I experienced my first sanctioned social nudist events with people I did not already know at an event held in my hometown of Kansas City, MO with the Heartland Naturists. I have been hooked on social nudism every since.
I hope to meet lots of new friends through this site, both online and in person. Anyone and everyone is welcome to send me a friend request and become better acquainted.
Feel free to ask whatever you'd like to know about me either in this thread, in a message, or on my profile page.
You said your son has Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. I understand both of your pain. I have respect for those that don't let the challenges in life get in the way of life. You just need some determination and ingenuity. Have you ever seen someone riding an escalator on a wheel chair?

I use a set of exercises for my Osteoarthritis. I get away with almost no pain without medication. In my case "determination" = "pig headed Irish/American attitude". My wife has said I could teach a donkey to be stubborn.

Welcome to the site. Meeting nudists in person is a wonderful experience, as you have already learned for yourself. The overwhelming percentage of people we've met in camps are the same way...friendly and welcoming. BTW, I'm sorry to read about your son and his JA. Arthritis is a terrible affliction that some people only associate with the elderly.

Never seen anyone ride a wheelchair on an escalator, sounds like a very difficult task.
By the time my son got into a wheelchair his pain had isolated him to where he never left the house (or really even his room). He dropped out of school by 7th grade and didn't even really attend before then. It's a shame he lacks the education because he is extremely brilliant, most likely on the level of genius, literally.
He had to wait many years before doctors would replace his hips because they wanted him to be finished growing first. When they finally did the first one his femoral head was completely gone and the bones had fused together very badly leaving one leg much shorter. It's been almost 2 years since the first replacement and the 2nd was replaced in January.
Now, he still has much damage throughout his body, most notably in the knees and wrists.
I have several pain issues including ostheoarthrtis, gout, and fibromyalgia. The use of pain medication over the years has messed up my stomach so much that I can no longer take them and have to deal with additional problems.
So, please, be careful using them.
