What can be done about the "Gaukers"?
I was at Gunnison Beach in New Jersey on Memorial Day when two girls who were just topless were sunbathing off to the righ of me by the water. Then about 10 gaukers who were in shorts, layed their towels down right behind them. One was taking pictures. Unreal. As the girls were leaving I told them about what the guys were doing. They were shocked and pissed. I told them next time they come to sit in an area where there are nudists so they won't be gauked at. They said thank you for telling us and left. I don't know if they'll ever come back, but something has to be done about this. This is pathetic, and its only going to get worse. We have park rangers, but I didn't see anyone in time to tell them. That's about the only "legal" thing that can be done lol. I'masking for suggestions. Thank You!

Unfortunately there is not a whole lot that can be done especially if the beach is not officially designated as nude, not CO. If you are in a group of nude bathers you might have everone point at them and exclaim Hey, look at the perves.
Last year I was skinny dipping at a nude resort when a boat load of tourists went by, the boat turning in to give those on board a better look. No one in my group seemed to care but I joking yelled out for all to hear. "look at the crazy people, they are wearing clothes".

if they are enjoying looking cos they are attracted, as we all do everynow and then, then cant really blame them. if you feel its extreme, i.e. you feel threatened then confront them. oras i experienced in spain once: a young lady approached me and two friends and said she felt uncofortable at some guy staring at her. we suggested she join our group. after a while she said now she felt safe she actually felt flattered he was staring! safety innumbers i suppose. as a single male on when ive been nude on beaches i have found other single male nudists to gawk more than the clothed people who pass by.

I had a similar experience on a beach in Mexico many years ago. I was in the water, just dying for some justification to get rid of my swim suit on what was essentially a clothed beach. We had walked some distance since we had heard that nude swimming was permissible, there.
My wife was sunning on the sand while I was swimming. The beach was sparsely populated and I didnt see anyone else without a suit so not wishing to cause an international incident, I kept my suit on.
After a while a very pretty young woman swam up and said Id like to go topless but Im concerned about that guy,up there. This said while pointing to a fully clothed young male, at the top of the beach.
Wanting to avoid any misunderstanding, I replied, Id be glad to protect you, as would my wife.
Once she dropped her top, I gained the confidence to strip off my suit and spent the afternoon swimming and sunbathing nude without incident.
It's not just attractive females who get gauked at! I am disabled, in what could be described as an embarrassing way, except I'm not!
But on my local beach I get gauked at all the time by most of the beachbums. If I reply with a "hello" the silence is deafening.
For years it bothered me. So what do I do now? Well I just categorise them with those other freeloaders on the beach, seagulls/gannets, and just ignore them. If they carry on they will get eye-strain! Maybe they are more disabled than me.
I suggest all you young ladies do the same.
I go to Haulover pretty often, and its the same group of gaukers everytime. One man was staring for several minutes at me and started masterbating. I put on my trunks and walked up to him and told him he needed to keep walking down the beach. I have no problem if people want to stare or even take pictures, but I really dont want to be involved in some pervy guy's fantasies lol For the most part though, I feel really comfortable at Haulover. They have officers and life gaurds patrol the park reguarly. but sometimes they can be more annoying than the gaukers lol
