Is Navarre Beach, Florida a nude beach? I heard that it is. And if so do the cops bother you there?

Be very careful of Navarre, years ago they tolerated nudity, huge crackdown that police involves the Airforce in trespassing issues.

years ago after spending a week at a nudist resort north of Pensacola we went down to look for the nude beach at Navarre needless to say I don't think we went far enough and the road and sides were packed with cars - yes maybe everyone had same idea. I read later that the nude section was at the edge of the airbase and if the law bothered the nudist they just stepped onto the airbase - federal property needless to say I never found it so donn't know how true it was. Nowdays we go to Apollo Beach near new Smyrna Beach.

You can still go nude at Navarre, you just have to go over to the federal parks and go on the baysideAND....make sure you go with someone who can keep a lookout for you....not worth the trouble IMHO when there are other options.
