Happens to all of us

Hi everyone, Well my big Mac Pro had a few problems and I'm still working on it. What happened was, I was in safari and a few other programs and for some reason everything just stopped, I couldn't get anything to shut down and the system was locked it seamed. I had no other choice but to hard boot down. I started back up and got the apple and indicator wheel then it booted then stopped with a gray screen and would not go any further. There was nothing I could do and tried everything. The one thing I can say is if anyone has a Mac pro with 4 hard drives in it, don't think that time machine will help. I could not boot up to any drive nor my clone CCC backup. I was lucky I did have a 2 TB external time machine back up or I would have been in trouble.
The good news is I worked on the computer for a couple nights and found the video RAM is bad so i need to get a new card. I did get it started doing a safe boot and if anyone ever needs to do a safe boot all you do is hold down the shift key till you get the indicator wheel. Also if you need to get one of the super drives open, start the computer up while pressing your mouse a few times and it will open.
I would like to hear any problems you all are having too. I'm going to be working on the website more after i get the video ram fixed. I hope everyone is doing well and look forward hearing from you all.
Thanks,
Maui
