July 4th at San Onofre State Beach, hope you can celebrate with us

Yesterday we met with B&K and had an amazing afternoon. We also met another new couple who are joining TDP. We also ran into an OG DogPound couple we havent seen in a year. We are all planning on meeting back up on July 4th at the Pirate Ship. We hope you all can join us this time.

San Onofre is located just North of Camp Pendleton where the power plant is(think giant titties). Parking is $20 for full day use. After you pass the gaurd shack drive to the very end, trail 6 to park. Follow the trail to the beach (much easier hike than Blacks Beach) and then go south. Go past the chain link fence to Allens Pirate Ship (he has been building and maintaining it for years). Many people ride their eBikes down and back up and others pull a wagon with their gear. We just travel light with backpacks, chairs, umbrella and cooler.
