As many lakes and wooded areas in northern Maine .............. think someone would post an area that is clothing optional friendly. The tourist have moved in and taken over.............. maybe a "nudist co-op timeshare" would be a idea for this area.

I just got back from a week in Maine, and I love the place. I get the feeling the window for comfortable nudism is just a few months though...

Clothed or Naked Maine is a wonderful state from the mountains to the shores. I have spent many delightful times on the Maine coastline and hiked and kayaked many of the mountains and rivers. Yes more nudist options would be nice but it's never a reason not to visit our northern neighbor.

Check out the Richmond Sauna, in Richmond, ME. Google it. A very nice clothing-optional place open year-round. Their website has some interesting reading, even a write-up in Yankee Magazine from some years ago which seems accurate for today too.
