starting the pool

Last mid summer I started going out to start the pump nude many mornings.
I came up from the basement inside the privacy fence and didn't sit down, so I had no need to have any covering with me.
This year I started the day after the pool was opened (yesterday) and intend to do so as many days as possible.

After 3 days in a row, my streak is ending, 49F and raining today.
Hope to get back into it soon.

49 and partly cloudy today so I did start the pump. Chilly but tolerable for a few minutes.

RE:starting the pool

Our pool has been running all winter so technically, the starting begins at 8:30 AM when the pump kicks on. No big deal here except there is an oak tree that overhangs one end just slightly. Its nice for shade & summer cooling but makes it the occasional pain after a storm comes through. Not a big deal but anybody with a pool is well versed in skimming the stuff. Its part of the routine & makes me really appreciate a good clean pool & deck. As an afterthought, I had a friend once mention that if he bought a house with a pool . . . the very first thing he would do is fill it in! Sometimes, it is a tempting thought.
