Profile Cleanup
The site should have a built in method of clearing out unused profiles after a certain period of time. If someone has not logged in for two years then clearly they arent interested in using the site so lets delete the profile. Secondarily, it would be nice if TN advertised itself more so we could bring in more interested people.

On your first point, it's a recommendation that has been summarily ignored by the owners since the creation of the site. There is also a flaw in the site programming that would create problems. Delete a profile, and every post that profile has made also disappears. Not a show stopper as far as I'm concerned, but it would make for some broken conversations. Ironically, photo media appears to be forever. Even if you delete a photo (or movie) from your profile, it stays on the media server.

In addition to posts being deleted, resulting in a response to a nonexistent post if the responder hasn't quoted it, any threads started by the member who left are deleted in their entirety!
If all of the ancient profiles were deleted in cases where the person has not signed in for at least the past two years, there would be only a few hundred members left. Out of those few hundred only a dozen would be actively contributing to the site. How could such numbers be compared to the alleged 1,000,000 'members' that the site presently claims???
Cleaning out the site of members that have left the site and haven't returned in some time, will never happen. If the owners want to sell the site, they need to show potential for revenue. Of 1,000,000 members, the potential for many of those becoming paid members, increases the value of the site.
It's quite simple really. Would you buy a site that has 300 active members or a site that has 1 million members, knowing that if you provide these potential paying members with Add Ons (chat rooms, photo viewing, etc), your potential for making money increases substantially. It's not about nudism/naturism, it's about money. Nothing is free, and there's always an angle.
